Do you love reading?
Do you enjoy a glass of wine and really good conversations?
Do you like the idea of a book club, but hate the thought of sticking to a prescribed book list?
If you answered 'Yes!' to any or all, of these questions then you need to come along to Be Present Coaching's Book Club!
It may be called a Book Club, but it is not a traditional one. At Be Present Coaching we are shaking things up!
First of all, these are pressure free events (like everything that we do at Be Present Coaching). There is no book list and deadlines that we need to follow, hence no pressure. What I encourage you to do is come along ready to talk about the book(s) that you are currently loving or always seem to go back to.
We don't care if you are 5 pages in or have read it cover to cover 5 times! Just be ready to share with others why this book has you so engrossed.
Any time we can get together to have good conversations and connect with others is how we should be spending our time! Especially when it is with likeminded women who we may not get the chance to talk to otherwise.
As adults it can be hard to meet new people or step away from our day to day conversations that we have, with the same circle of friends and work colleagues. Be Present Coaching's Book Club is the perfect way to mix this up.
These book club events are going to run a few times each year and are either hosted over brunch on a Saturday or on a Thursday night with wine and desserts!
What do you need to know for Thursday 31st August event...
Topic of Discussion: Be prepared to talk about a book(s) that you have found that have really gotten you thinking and inspired
This event runs for 2 hours and is only $29!
Included in your ticket price is a glass of wine or non alchoholic beverage and a selection of desserts to indulge in.
As with all Be Present Coaching events, Kylie Aloi will host the evening and lead the discussion. You will have the chance to move around the room and talk in smaller groups. Just remember these are intimate events. We believe this also removes the pressure and allows you to have more in-depth conversations, rather than racing around trying to talk to as many people as you can.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
As there is alcohol being served the minimum age is 18 years old
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is street parking along Fawkner St or there is plenty of parking across the road at the IGA carpark, all for 2 hours
What can I bring into the event?
You may bring along any book(s) you wish to discuss or otherwise have the title and author of the book so that you can recommend it to other attendees
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
If you have any further questions or queries you can email Kylie Aloi at firstname.lastname@example.org
What's the refund policy?
There are no refunds, however you can transfer your ticket to a friend. Just email Kylie prior to the event to update her with the new ticket holder's details
